Visa liberalisation has been a powerful tool to facilitate people-to-people contacts1 and to support reforms in the Western Balkans and in the Eastern Partnership in the areas of justice, security and fundamental freedoms.

Commission is reporting on the assessment of the fulfilment of the visa liberalisation requirements by Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia, as well as Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
