Project Stakeholders Discuss Progress in SBMMG Implementation

The Delegation of the European Union hosted on 10 October the second coordination meeting for the stakeholders of IOM’s project “Sustaining Border Management and Migration Governance in Georgia (SBMMG)”.

At this occasion, IOM reported to representatives of the Georgian government partners progress achieved in all segments of the project, including border management, combating cross-border crime, labour migration, return and readmission as well as the operation of the Migrant Resource Centres.

Such coordination meetings are an excellent opportunity to take stock of progress and discuss what steps can be taken to further improve project implementation and foster coordinated action among all stakeholders.
